Program Details

Mission

Provide market-aligned vocational skills to youth and women to increase employability and self-employment in Sindh.

Objectives

  • Deliver competency-based training with practical workshops
  • Link graduates to jobs, apprenticeships, and micro-enterprise
  • Promote safety, soft skills, and entrepreneurship

Target Group

Unemployed youth (15–29), women, school dropouts, and NFE graduates transitioning to trades.

Trades & Modules

Tailoring & Dressmaking Electrical Wiring Computer Operations Beautician Entrepreneurship Financial Literacy

Each trade includes: theory (20%), hands-on practice (70%), assessment (10%). Soft skills and workplace ethics are embedded across all modules.

Delivery Model

  • Community training centers with flexible timings
  • Trainer–learner ratio ~1:20; toolkits provided
  • Attendance tracking and weekly practical tasks

Certification & Partners

Assessment aligned with provincial standards; linkages with STEVTA, TTB, NAVTTC, and local industry for placement.

Expected Outcomes

  • ≥ 80% course completion
  • ≥ 60% graduates placed or self-employed within 3 months
  • ≥ 40% women participation
