Non-Formal Education (NFE)

Mission

Enable out-of-school learners to attain foundational literacy & numeracy and transition to formal education or skills training.

Objectives

• Bridge learning gaps through accelerated modules
• Develop life skills, civic values, and digital basics
• Create clear transition pathways to schools & TVET

Learner Profile

Ages 9–20; never-enrolled or dropouts; priority for vulnerable and marginalized groups.

Curriculum

• English & Urdu: phonics → comprehension
• Math: number sense → operations → fractions/geometry
• Life skills & basic ICT

Assessment

Continuous assessment + milestone tests; portfolios and oral checks; remedial groups based on evidence.

Pathways & Partnerships

Referrals to public schools and skill centers; collaboration with SEF and Directorate of Literacy & NFE.
